Chicken Spaghetti Recipe

Spaghetti is the pride of the Italians and the king of all pasta dishes. It is made from durum wheat semolina, water and optional ingredients such as egg and gluten. Cooking spaghetti is really simple - just boil the pasta in water and add some salt or olive oil. The consistency or texture of spaghetti changes as it is cooked.

1. In a large mixing bowl, add in the chicken pieces and season them with salt and pepper.


2. Preheat a skillet and add in the oil. Add in the chicken pieces and fry them until both sides are browned.


3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and leave 2 tablespoons of oil in the skillet.


4. Add in the onion and garlic and stir fry them until there are tender.


5. Add in the chicken pieces back into the skillet and add in the tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste and parsley. Cover and let it cook for about 90 minutes. Be sure to stir occasionally so that the bottom doesn't stick. Add water if the mixture is too thick.


6. Serve over cooked spaghetti, preferably hot and sprinkle the top with grated cheese. Serve and enjoy!
